Luma Dream Machine
Luma Dream Machine, Luma AI's video app, now lives on as Luma, a creative-agent app built on Luma's Ray3.2 video model plus outside models such as Veo 3.1, Kling 4.0 and Seedance. Plans cost $30, $90 or $300 a month as of Nov 6, 2026.
Luma Dream Machine was Luma AI's video generator, and as of Nov 6, 2026 the address lumalabs.ai/dream-machine opens Luma's agent app instead: the product is now simply called Luma, with creative agents that research, generate and refine video, images, audio and text, on Luma's own Ray3.2 video model (released Jun 9, 2026) and on outside models such as Google's Veo 3.1, Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5. Plans cost $30, $90 or $300 a month ($25, $75 or $250 billed yearly) with 10,000 to 150,000 credits.
Luma suits agencies and marketers who want one subscription that plans a campaign and calls whichever model fits, and its Ray3.2 model outputs HDR and EXR for film and grading work. It is a costly way to make a few clips: the cheapest plan is twice Runway's, it lists no free plan on its pricing page, and its own Ray3 ranks 33rd on Arena's text-to-video board (Arena, read Nov 6, 2026). For free experiments, Google Flow gives 50 credits a day. Best AI Video Generator compares them.

Models
Ray3 (Sep 18, 2025) was billed by Luma as the world's first "reasoning video model" (Luma).
Ray3 Modify (Dec 18, 2025) restyles and edits existing footage: its launch video shows a filmed performance turned into a new character, a character reference, and start, end and modify frames.
Ray3.14 (Jan 26, 2026) brought native 1080p and, by Luma's account, 4 times faster generation at a third of the per-second price.
Ray3.2 (Jun 9, 2026), Luma's newest video model, is offered in the app and through the API, with SDR, HDR and HDR plus EXR output options listed on the pricing page.
Uni-1 is Luma's "Unified Intelligence" model behind the agents; CEO Amit Jain told TechCrunch it reasons in language and draws images, with audio and video output planned for later releases (TechCrunch, Mar 5, 2026). Uni-1.1 reached the API on May 5, 2026.
Features
Luma Agents. Launched Mar 5, 2026 for agencies, marketing teams and studios, the agents take a brief through to finished images, video and audio, calling Luma's and other makers' models. Jain said they turned a year-long ad campaign into localized versions for several countries in 40 hours for under $20,000, a claim TechCrunch reported without testing (TechCrunch).
Skills, Scenes, Variants and Mini-Apps. Luma has since added saved workflows (Luma Skills, Jun 16, 2026), Luma Scenes (Aug 11), Variants (Oct 1) and one-click Mini-Apps inside the agents (Oct 27) (Luma news).
ChatGPT and Claude. On Nov 3, 2026 Luma announced that it can be connected to ChatGPT and Claude, after an Oct 8 partnership with Anthropic.
