Google Flow
Google Flow is Google's AI filmmaking app at flow.google.com, built on the Gemini Omni Flash and Veo video models and Nano Banana for images. Everyone 18 or older in a supported country gets 50 free credits a day; Google AI Pro adds 1,000 credits a month and Ultra 10,000 or 25,000, as of Nov 6, 2026.
Google Flow is Google's AI filmmaking tool, a web app (with an Android beta) where you generate video clips from text, frames or reference images and build them into scenes. As of Nov 6, 2026 it runs on Google's Gemini Omni Flash 1.2 and Veo 3.1 Lite video models and Nano Banana image models, and it is free to try: everyone gets 50 Flow credits a day, enough for about 16 seconds of 720p Omni video or five Veo 3.1 Lite clips. Paid Google AI plans add monthly credits: Pro 1,000, Ultra $100 10,000 and Ultra $200 25,000.
Pick Flow if you want Google's best video model, Gemini Omni (first on Arena's text-to-video leaderboard as of Nov 6, 2026), with a timeline, assets and an agent around it. Look elsewhere if you need longer single takes (Kling 4.0 does 30 seconds), an editor with many outside models (Runway or Luma), or a talking presenter (HeyGen, Synthesia).

Is Google Flow free?
Yes, with limits. Everyone, subscriber or not, receives 50 Flow credits each day; they do not roll over, and the next day's batch starts counting from your first generation (Google Flow Help). Without a subscription you get Omni Flash clips of up to 10 seconds and Veo 3.1 Lite, but video may be unavailable at peak hours, roughly 2 PM to 5 PM UTC. Many Google Workspace business and education plans include Flow with the same 50 daily credits at no extra charge (Google).
Plans and credits
| Plan | Price | Flow credits |

| Google AI Ultra $200 | $200 a month | 50 a day plus 25,000 a month |

Subscribers in supported regions except Japan can buy extra AI credits. Credits for a failed or blocked generation come back within an hour.

Source: Google Flow Help, read Nov 6, 2026; Google says costs can change and shows the current price in the prompt box settings. A 10-second 720p Omni clip is 30 credits, so the free 50 daily credits cover one such clip a day.
Features
Gemini Omni Flash. Google introduced Omni at I/O on May 19, 2026, describing it as a model that makes video from any mix of inputs and edits clips through conversation, "like Nano Banana, but for video" (Google). In Flow it does text to video, frames to video, ingredients (reference images) to video and video to video editing, at 360p for cheap drafts or 720p, with custom voices (Google Flow Help).
Scenes and editing. Flow began as a successor to Google's VideoFX experiment with camera controls, Scenebuilder for editing and extending shots, and asset management for characters and prompts (Google, May 20, 2025). Since Oct 2025 its ingredients, frames and extend features also make sound, and Insert adds new objects to a shot (Google).
Flow Agent and Tools. The Google Flow Agent plans multi-step tasks, makes variations, batch-edits assets and organizes them into collections, for all users. Flow Tools are custom workflows written in plain language that others can remix; all users can run them, and subscribers can create them (Google, May 19, 2026).
Avatars and Flow Music. Flow lets you make an avatar of yourself to use in clips, and Flow Music, a sister app on Lyria 3 Pro, writes songs and music videos with Omni (Google Flow Help).
Flow TV. A public showcase of clips made with Google's models, showing the prompt behind each one.
