Kling is an AI video generator made by Kling AI, the video unit of the Chinese short-video company Kuaishou, and its newest model, Kling 4.0, launched on Oct 15, 2026 with single clips of up to 30 seconds, up to 10 keyframe images to steer them and up to 15 reference files. You can use it at kling.ai or through its API, where Kling 3.0 costs from $0.084 a second at 720p, and it is also sold inside Runway at 118 credits per 5 seconds of 1080p Kling 4.0, Luma and Pika (as of Nov 6, 2026).
Kling's strength is long, stable single shots with complex camera moves; no other model on this page set makes 30 seconds in one take except Seedance 2.5. Its weak spot is independent proof: as of Nov 6, 2026 neither Kling 3.0 nor Kling 4.0 appears on Arena's text-to-video leaderboard, where the best Kling entry, Kling 2.6 Pro, is 31st (Arena). For the highest measured quality, Google's Gemini Omni in Google Flow is first there. Best AI Video Generator compares them.

Business
Kling is one of the few AI video products with public revenue figures. Kuaishou reported Kling revenue of over RMB 650 million in the first quarter of 2026, more than 300% higher than a year earlier, and an annualized run rate of about $500 million in March 2026 (Kuaishou, May 27, 2026). In May 2026 Kuaishou said in a Hong Kong filing that it was assessing a restructuring of Kling's business that could bring in outside investors (Caixin, May 13, 2026).
