Since the Oct 19, 2026 rebuild, agents have their own computer and browser, can work on a task for up to 24 hours and offer a "Review for me" mode with safety checks; since Aug 28, 2026 they can propose edits you approve one by one.

Auto router and bring your own AI. Notion's Auto mode picks a model for each task; Notion says Auto gave results similar to Opus 5.5 and Astra on 20 or more common tasks at about 90% lower average cost (its own test). You can also connect a ChatGPT Plus, Pro or Go plan to your personal Notion Agent (Notion). Workspace owners choose which models agents may use (Sep 9, 2026).

Custom Agents and skills. One person builds an agent that runs on a schedule or a trigger, and the whole team can use it; agents can call sub-agents and share a skills library (Notion 3.7, Sep 15, 2026), and connect to outside tools through MCP (Notion 3.8, Oct 13, 2026).

0:13 AI Meeting Notes. Transcribes and summarizes meetings without a bot joining the call (Notion); since Jul 31, 2026 a finished meeting note can trigger a Custom Agent, such as one that files action items.
